Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of GroceryLister. By using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use GroceryLister.
The service
GroceryLister provides tools to store recipes, build grocery lists from those recipes, organize items by aisle, share content by link, and shop collaboratively. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued as the product evolves.
Accounts and eligibility
Creating and saving your own content requires signing in with a Google account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
Your content
You retain ownership of recipes, lists, and other content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, store, sync, display, and share that content as you direct — for example, when you use shared links or sync data across your devices.
You are responsible for the content you store and for who receives your share links. Recipe links can be viewed by anyone with the URL or recipe ID, with no expiration. Shared grocery list links allow check-offs during the active share period set by the list owner.
Guest use
You may open shared recipe or grocery list links without creating an account. Guest use is still subject to these terms. Guests on shared grocery lists may check items off during the active share window but may not change list structure. Opening shared links requires an internet connection.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully or in a way that harms others
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, including by automated scraping or abuse
- Upload or share content that infringes someone else's rights
Availability and changes
We aim to keep GroceryLister available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). The service is currently provided free of charge, so this limit will often be USD $100.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if necessary to protect the service or other users. You may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
